April 16, 2011 – The Biola men’s lacrosse team took on a short-handed University of the Pacific team, winning 20-5. Pacific was only able to travel with 10 players, leaving them with no substitutes for the entire game. Despite the obvious disadvantage, Pacific managed to play hard, scoring at least one goal in every quarter. Biola jumped out to an early 5-1 lead after the first quarter, and tacked on four more goals in the second to take a 9-2 lead into halftime. The Eagles matched their second quarter output in the third, scoring four more times before a seven goal outburst in the fourth, leading to the 20-5 win.
Sophomore attackman Jeff Clark led all scorers with seven goals and five assists, for 12 total points in the game. Fellow attackman, junior Marc Morgan, was not far behind with his six goals and two assists. The remaining seven goals were spread equally amongst the team with seven players each notching one goal: senior midfielder Scott Shiokari, freshman attackman David Martin, junior midfielder David Sigley, sophomore midfielder Scott Gamelson, senior defenseman Sean Lane, junior midfielder Jayson Schivley, and sophomore midfielder Joel Williams. Sigley added two assists, while Shiokari, Moranski and Schivley all had one assist each. Freshman goalie Jimmy Perdomo-Hazen made eight saves in the game, and junior midfielder/goalie Daris Chang made one save.
