October 9, 2012 – The Biola University men’s lacrosse team is excited to announce their schedule for the 2013 season. The schedule features a full slate of 16 games, including six conference games and three games against MCLA Division 1 opponents.
In what is becoming a tradition, the Eagles will open with Claremont, their first Div. 1 team of the season. President’s Day weekend will find Biola back in Las Vegas as they participate in the Full House Face Off for the first time since the 2010 season. Biola will match up with Portland, a team they beat in the final seconds in 2012, and Westminster, the 2011 & 2012 Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference Div. 2 champions and 2008 MCLA National Champions.
The Eagles close out February by welcoming San Jose State for the home opener, opening conference play at Marymount College, and welcoming USC back to Biola to take on their second Div. 1 opponent. March finds the Eagles on the road to start the month, with non-conference games at CSU Fullerton and UC San Diego, and their second conference game at Pepperdine.
After starting the season with seven road games in nine contests, Biola settles down at home to finish the season with six home games in a row. The Eagles welcome Cal Lutheran, Central Washington, and UC Davis to end the month of March.
After Easter break, Biola will play four games in just two weeks, welcoming Northern Arizona, CSU Channel Islands, and Occidental to finish conference play. The Eagles will finish off the regular season with a game against Concordia, at a location that is yet to be determined.
