February 25, 2012 – The Biola University men’s lacrosse team couldn’t hold back the offensive onslaught of Concordia University, falling into an early 4-0 hole, and unable to recover, losing 16-7. Concordia opened the game scoring on the opening face-off, and took control from there. Biola’s defense was unable to contain Concordia’s potent attack line, who combined for 10 goals.

Concordia jumped out to 7-2 first quarter lead, and extended their lead to 12-5 at halftime. Biola managed to narrowly win the third quarter, 2-1, but would be shut out in the fourth. Concordia tacked on three more goals in the fourth to seal the victory.

Biola’s scoring was lead by junior attackman Jeff Clark who scored two goals, the only Eagle to score multiple goals in the game. Five players contributed a goal each: senior attackmen Adam Kingston and Marc Morgan, senior midfielders Jon McMahan and David Sigley, and freshman midfielder Matt Young. The Eagles managed to tally only four assists in the game, with two from Kingston, one from McMahan and one from junior midfielder Scott Gamelson. Senior goalie Sean Lane made 11 saves in the contest.
