February 25, 2011 – The Biola Eagles snapped their three-game losing streak, winning 15-11 over Cal State Channel Islands (CSUCI) in Biola’s first home game, and first conference game, of the 2011 season.  The Eagles jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead thanks in part to sophomore attackman Jeff Clark who had two early goals.  Biola’s defense kept up the aggressive play into the second quarter, giving up only one goal, allowing the Eagles to take a 10-3 lead at halftime. Biola came out flat in the second half, with rainy and cold weather taking a toll, and CSUCI managed to fight their way back into the game.  Despite six CSUCI goals in the fourth, the Eagles were able to hold on for their first win of the season.

Jeff Clark led the way for Biola, with a season high seven goals and two assists.  Fellow attackman sophomore Scott Gamelson and junior Marc Morgan both added two goals and one assist, and three goals and one assist, respectively.  Junior midfielder David Sigley chipped in with three goals and an assist, and senior midfielder David Ha added an assist in his first game back from injury.  Freshman goalie Jimmy Perdomo-Hazen recorded nine saves in the win.
