2011 Post-Season Awards
The 2011 Southwestern Lacrosse Conference awards have been announced, and three Biola players are among those honored. Junior attackman Marc Morgan was awarded a first-team all-conference spot after racking up 50 total points on 37 goals and 13 assists. Sophomore attackman Jeff Clark was also awarded a first-team all-conference spot after his 80 point performance on 51 goals and 29 assists. Clark led the team in all scoring categories in 2011. Junior midfielder David Sigley was awarded a second-team all-conference spot after posting 24 goals and 12 assists in 2011, all while leading the team as captain.

Biola Loses to Fullerton in Playoffs
April 30, 2011 – The Biola men’s lacrosse team took on cross-town rivals Cal State Fullerton on Saturday in the quarterfinals of the Southwestern Lacrosse Conference playoffs. Originally, Biola was not slated to be in the playoffs, however a last minute change with Pepperdine put Biola into their second straight playoff berth. The Eagles were shorthanded, missing four players due to spring break plans. Working on a few days’ notice, and with two short-handed practices under their belt, the Eagles were unable to muster much of an attack, falling to Fullerton 21-8.

Biola Wins Big to Close Out 2011 Season
April 21, 2011 – The Biola men’s lacrosse team ended their 2011 season with a bang, winning 17-3 over UC Irvine. The Eagles jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead in the first quarter, fueled by the previous night’s loss to Fullerton. Irvine managed to score twice in the second quarter, but it was matched with three for Biola, who took a 7-2 lead into halftime. Biola Falls to Cross-Town Rival
April 20, 2011 – The Biola lacrosse team fell to their cross-town rivals, Cal State University – Fullerton, for the second straight year, losing 15-8 on Wednesday night. Fullerton jumped out to an early 7-2 lead after the first quarter, and were able to ride that momentum to victory. Biola’s defense came back strong in the second and third quarters, allowing only two goals in the second and one in third. Biola Beats a Short-Handed Pacific Team
April 16, 2011 – The Biola men’s lacrosse team took on a short-handed University of the Pacific team, winning 20-5. Pacific was only able to travel with 10 players, leaving them with no substitutes for the entire game. Despite the obvious disadvantage, Pacific managed to play hard, scoring at least one goal in every quarter. Biola jumped out to an early 5-1 lead after the first quarter, and tacked on four more goals in the second to take a 9-2 lead into halftime.
