The 2014 Biola University men’s lacrosse season marked a season of improvement over the previous season in many ways. To start, the team’s 10-5 regular season record shows the biggest improvement over 2013’s 4-12 regular season record. The 2014 team scored 216 goals and gave up 151, compared to the 2013 team who scored just 122 goals and gave up 209. April 5, 2014 – The Biola University Eagles men’s lacrosse team clinched the third, and final, postseason spot in the Southwestern Lacrosse Conference’s Division 2 North section via a win over the Occidental College Tigers. The 2014 postseason will be Biola’s fifth straight trip to the playoffs, and sixth trip overall.

March 19, 2014 – The Biola University Eagle men’s lacrosse team faltered in their fourth conference game of the year, losing to crosstown rival Cal State Fullerton, as the Titans rode a hot fourth quarter to victory.
Fullerton got out to a quick 3-1 lead after the first quarter, before pushing their lead to three, 5-2, at halftime. The Eagles were able to get back into the game in the third quarter, outscoring Fullerton 3-1, to bring the game to a 6-5 score late in the third. The Titans quickly More >
March 8, 2014 – The Biola University Eagles men’s lacrosse team needed late game heroics again to pull out the win over the Cal State San Marcos Cougars. After taking a four goal lead into the fourth quarter, Biola couldn’t keep San Marcos at bay, and they stormed back to tie the game late in the fourth. The Eagle’s managed two goals with under two minutes left to ensure the victory.

March 7, 2014 – The Biola University Eagles men’s lacrosse team scored six seconds into their game against the Pepperdine University Waves en route to their first conference win of the season. A pre-game technical foul gave the ball to the Eagles to start the game, allowing Bryce Hummel (Fr., Midfield) to get to a quick shooting opportunity, just inside the offensive box.
