Alumnus Adam Weitz Aims to Give Back
Adam Weitz, an alumnus from the first years of Biola lacrosse, has taken to the internet with his passion for helping homelessness. GiveBag.org aims to give those who share his passion the tools to simply and easily help those in need. The organization partners with those in the food and grocery industries to purchase food, or receive donations.
GiveBag.org then packages the items into bags and ships them out to churches at no charge to the church. Churches have the ability to receive as little or as many as they feel they need for their neighborhood. Church members then More >
2011 Post-Season Awards
The 2011 Southwestern Lacrosse Conference awards have been announced, and three Biola players are among those honored. Junior attackman Marc Morgan was awarded a first-team all-conference spot after racking up 50 total points on 37 goals and 13 assists. Sophomore attackman Jeff Clark was also awarded a first-team all-conference spot after his 80 point performance on 51 goals and 29 assists. Clark led the team in all scoring categories in 2011. Junior midfielder David Sigley was awarded a second-team all-conference spot after posting 24 goals and 12 assists in 2011, all while leading the team as captain.

Biola Loses to Fullerton in Playoffs
April 30, 2011 – The Biola men’s lacrosse team took on cross-town rivals Cal State Fullerton on Saturday in the quarterfinals of the Southwestern Lacrosse Conference playoffs. Originally, Biola was not slated to be in the playoffs, however a last minute change with Pepperdine put Biola into their second straight playoff berth. The Eagles were shorthanded, missing four players due to spring break plans. Working on a few days’ notice, and with two short-handed practices under their belt, the Eagles were unable to muster much of an attack, falling to Fullerton 21-8.

Biola Enters SLC Playoff Mix
After earning a regular season tie with Occdental and Pepperdine in the conference standings, the Biola men’s lacrosse has made it to the Southwestern Lacrosse Conference playoffs for the second straight season. As first reported by the conference, Biola had missed the playoffs due to losing the tiebreaker between the three teams. Having only beaten Occidental by one and losing to Pepperdine by four, meant Biola’s goal total put them as the last of the three tied teams.
